If Jean-François Perre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 7 minutes, Jean-François Perre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maulde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-François Perre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute Barthélémy Lorant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grégory Lemasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jean-François Perre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grégory Lemasson was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. If Jean-François Perre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barthélémy Lorant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maulde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gauthier Savigny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 27th match minute, Maulde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacques Saadi to maneuver through the defense. Barrou's Eliott Guitton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gauthier Raphael but with some difficulty. If Nicolas Zettor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Aimé Rapp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Maulde's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Zettor came free, but Gauthier Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grégory Lemasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barthélémy Lorant in the 37th minute of the match. If Jean-François Perre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Barthélémy Lorant made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barthélémy Lorant in the 64th minute of play forced Barrou's goalkeeper Grégory Lemasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes Barrou got a freekick which was hit by Aimé Rapp. Jean-François Perre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Grégory Lemasson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Nicolas Zettor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Maulde's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Zettor came free, but Gauthier Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grégory Lemasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barthélémy Lorant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rémi Louise came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Barrou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rémi Louise couldn't finish the play. Barthélémy Lorant was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 87th minute, Achille Paquin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Barthélémy Lorant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grégory Lemasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maulde's Gildas Lebosse shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Grégory Lemasson but with some difficulty. The Barrou supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maulde's performance. The match ended with a win for Maulde.
