Gauthier Raphael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blaise Le Floc'h's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 7 played minutes Gainneville got a freekick which was hit by Grégory Wattebled. After 8 played minutes, Maulde's Nolan Dorange shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claude Bry came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maulde reached it. Claude Bry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barthélémy Lorant in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, Maulde's Gauthier Raphael got control of the ball when Yves Helias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maulde's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-François Perre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claude Bry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blaise Le Floc'h stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Maulde's protests and gave Barthélémy Lorant a yellow card for diving instead. Gauthier Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Helias, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Maulde's goal looked a bit too open when Blaise Le Floc'h came free, but Gauthier Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Jacques Saadi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maulde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gainneville the free kick. 62 minutes into the match, Maulde's goal looked a bit too open when Blaise Le Floc'h came free, but Gauthier Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Blaise Le Floc'h got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blaise Le Floc'h received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gauthier Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Yves Helias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gauthier Raphael was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. If Jean-François Perre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Maulde's goal looked a bit too open when Blaise Le Floc'h came free, but Gauthier Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gainneville getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Grégory Wattebled hit a great ball. Maulde's Jean-François Perre got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
