In the 29th minute, Samy Richez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thierry Dubroca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Fardel having to interfere. When Pierre-Henri Moles fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bondy's protests and gave Pierre-Henri Moles a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildas Denimal in the 39th minute of play forced Bondy's goalkeeper Victor Fardel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Igny's zone, Samy Richez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Bruni came out of the goal and Samy Richez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gildas Denimal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Samy Richez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Gayrard in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victor Fardel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gildas Denimal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Fardel having to interfere. Victor Fardel was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Elias Gayrard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Gayrard really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Elias Gayrard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Fardel having to interfere. If Georges Greiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Bruni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges Greiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Gayrard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Fardel. That made the score 1-2 in the 80 minute of play. Samy Richez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Robin Bruni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Georges Greiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elias Gayrard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Victor Fardel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igny's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
