With his leg Eugène Jouannet managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Cammas's Kamel Santoni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manuel Philippot kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Kamel Santoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugène Jouannet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cammas's Jolan Sellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samy Battesti in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Florent Gire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rouvroy's supporters rose to their feet, but Florent Gire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jolan Sellin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jolan Sellin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Philippot, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute, Kamel Santoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samy Battesti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jolan Sellin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jolan Sellin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florent Gire's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Jolan Sellin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florent Gire in the 30th minute of the match. Joe Roure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugène Jouannet having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Kamel Santoni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamel Santoni was the one to do the kick off. Florent Gire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jolan Sellin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joe Roure came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cammas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joe Roure couldn't finish the play. Cammas's Kamel Santoni got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Samy Battesti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Kamel Santoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugène Jouannet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rouvroy's Samy Battesti got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 77th minute, Manuel Philippot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Rouvroy's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Santoni came free, but Eugène Jouannet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jolan Sellin made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Samy Battesti sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Kamel Santoni made a precise shot to the right of Eugène Jouannet. Rouvroy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Rouvroy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
