Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alban Vinel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lorenzo Moalic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ronald Pesnel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronald Pesnel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Moalic, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Turckheim getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ludovic Nicod hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ali Buquet put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronald Pesnel. Ronald Pesnel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Moalic in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Elange's Philippe Delobel got a free kick in the 17th minute. Alban Vinel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alix Derville having to interfere. Alix Derville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Ragueneau in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Elange's Alix Derville got control of the ball when Albert Ragueneau tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Lorenzo Moalic came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Elange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Moalic couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alban Vinel in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alix Derville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Etienne Canonne fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turckheim's protests and gave Etienne Canonne a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Turckheim getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Etienne Canonne hit a great ball. Alix Derville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alban Vinel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Alban Vinel might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alix Derville. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alban Vinel ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alban Vinel in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alix Derville saved Elange from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Ragueneau in the 59th minute of play forced Elange's goalkeeper Alix Derville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Elange's zone, Albert Ragueneau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alix Derville came out of the goal and Albert Ragueneau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Turckheim's Albert Ragueneau in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elange's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Elange's Lorenzo Moalic dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Buquet got free with Ronald Pesnel in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elange's Alix Derville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alban Vinel in the 87th minute of play. When Turckheim's Alban Vinel in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elange's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Albert Ragueneau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turckheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alban Vinel in the 99th minute of play forced Elange's goalkeeper Alix Derville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Turckheim fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elange had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
