Michael Mazet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Beutre's Titouan Bonnardel got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beutre's goalkeeper Clément Brousse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Theo Viard didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 10th minute. Simandres's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Beutre's Clément Brousse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Beutre from getting a goal against them. Fred Risser struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Karl Thomasse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beutre. Armand Gorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Karl Thomasse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armand Gorin struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Karl Thomasse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beutre. 27 minutes into the match, Simandres's Michael Mazet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clément Brousse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Beutre's goalkeeper Clément Brousse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theo Viard. If Theo Viard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Michael Mazet came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Simandres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Mazet couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Victorien Labonne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Thomasse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Risser in the 39th minute of play. Fred Risser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armand Gorin made a kick off. Fred Risser's late challenge caught a Simandres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Risser helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Beutre getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fred Risser hit a great ball. Clément Brousse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Viard, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Theo Viard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Clément Brousse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Armand Gorin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl Thomasse. Armand Gorin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Didier Audren hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Hercule Camacho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Simandres's Karl Thomasse didn't even have to move. In the 72nd match minute, Beutre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yvan Adolphe to maneuver through the defense. Clément Brousse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Mazet, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Clément Brousse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Mazet's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Simandres's Theo Viard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clément Brousse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to Simandres getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Yann Horel hit a great ball.
