Lavabreille's supporters rose to their feet, but Romaric Sanz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Daguin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When Romaric Sanz came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Lavabreille fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romaric Sanz couldn't finish the play. If Dorian Lucchini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. Malik Ménard might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximilien Blaize. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malik Ménard ran back to his position shaking his head. Brice Daguin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romaric Sanz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th match minute, Lavabreille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barthelemy Masse to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th play minute Dorian Lucchini came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Brice Daguin. 2-2. If Dorian Lucchini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
