Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mathys Audigier kicked off to start the match. When Rayanne Colombani came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Collégien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rayanne Colombani couldn't finish the play. When Rayanne Colombani, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 5 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Florent Almeida was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Arnold Amy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rayanne Colombani came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Collégien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rayanne Colombani couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mathys Audigier sped through Collégien's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zinedine Fougeron. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronald Prieur during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 minutes, Djibril Beurrier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Collégien and the Melun players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Melun booed when Collégien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Carta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Camille Ory sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zinedine Fougeron skillfully saved the ball. Melun's Florent Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Melun from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rayanne Colombani was the one to do the kick off. If William Gout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Melun's goal looked a bit too open when Rayanne Colombani came free, but Florent Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Melun getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ronald Prieur hit a great ball. Rayanne Colombani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florent Almeida having to interfere. Collégien's Zinedine Fougeron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Collégien from getting a goal against them. If William Gout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sébastian Dif charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sébastian Dif the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rayanne Colombani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rayanne Colombani took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florent Almeida. Florent Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Melun getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Maxime Nardin hit a great ball. Zinedine Fougeron made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when William Gout sent off a good shot on target. Melun's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
