After 6 played minutes Caro got a freekick which was hit by Moise Labesse. Luka Brochot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre-Olivier Brahimi having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Ben Paillot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ben Paillot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ethan Rancon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pierre-Olivier Brahimi. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Caro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedric Daunay to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Caro's Pierre-Olivier Brahimi threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luka Brochot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ethan Rancon in the 41st minute of play forced Villebon's goalkeeper Pierre-Olivier Brahimi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Olivier Brahimi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Rancon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ben Paillot to strike the kick off in the second half. Luka Brochot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ethan Rancon in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre-Olivier Brahimi saved Villebon from getting behind. Philibert Lasne made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jean Carbon sent off a good shot on target. Cedric Daunay kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Ethan Rancon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philibert Lasne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Paillot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Carbon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Philibert Lasne made a huge save. In the 71st minute of the match, Jean Carbon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Philibert Lasne was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 72 minutes into the game, Benoit Lequin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villebon the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Caro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Lequin to maneuver through the defense. Jean Carbon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philibert Lasne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Luka Brochot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jean Carbon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Philibert Lasne made a huge save. Jimmy Revert kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Ludovic Thuillier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philibert Lasne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Villebon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
