Pierre-Olivier Brahimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Pélissier in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Veigné's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ben Paillot fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 7th match minute, Veigné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Granjon to maneuver through the defense. Florian Pélissier struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Pierre-Olivier Brahimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veigné. In the 15th minute Ben Paillot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Loubat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Paillot in the 17th minute of play forced Veigné's goalkeeper Antoine Loubat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Villebon's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Pélissier came free, but Pierre-Olivier Brahimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre-Olivier Brahimi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Pélissier, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ben Paillot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Antoine Loubat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veigné's Antoine Loubat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Veigné from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Veigné booed when Villebon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Florian Pélissier made a precise shot to the right of Pierre-Olivier Brahimi. Villebon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armand Le Mée during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute, one of Villebon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villebon. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Villebon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clem Grandsire to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Villebon's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Pélissier came free, but Pierre-Olivier Brahimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdel Juin got free with Pierre-Olivier Brahimi in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes of play, Villebon's Jean Carbon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoine Loubat was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute of the match, Abdel Juin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pierre-Olivier Brahimi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Brendan Guislain kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Veigné's zone, Jean Carbon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoine Loubat came out of the goal and Jean Carbon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kader Gatti kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Florian Pélissier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Veigné's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Abdel Juin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Brahimi having to interfere. Abdel Juin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Pierre-Olivier Brahimi made a huge save. Florian Pélissier might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre-Olivier Brahimi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Pélissier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88thth minute of the game Florian Pélissier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villebon's Pierre-Olivier Brahimi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florian Pélissier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Brahimi having to interfere. Kader Gatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Brahimi having to interfere. Gabriel Raymond was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Veigné eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
