Abdel Juin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Veigné's Antoine Loubat got control of the ball when Luka Brochot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florian Pélissier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Philibert Lasne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philibert Lasne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Pélissier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abdel Juin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veigné's Antoine Loubat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ethan Rancon in the 37th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Veigné got a freekick which was hit by Kader Gatti. After 47 played minutes Caro got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fuhrmann. Dilan Da Silva, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Pélissier to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Kader Gatti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veigné and the Caro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Veigné getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kader Gatti hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Luka Brochot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Florian Pélissier came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Veigné fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Pélissier couldn't finish the play. If Luka Brochot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ethan Rancon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florian Pélissier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antoine Loubat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Rancon in the 75th minute of play. Veigné's Antoine Loubat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Brochot in the 77th minute of play. André Jubert's late challenge caught a Caro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Jubert helped the player get up and apologised. Antoine Loubat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luka Brochot's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Florian Pélissier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Abdel Juin scored to the left of an out of position Philibert Lasne, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to Veigné getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Roman Portier hit a great ball. Luka Brochot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veigné's Antoine Loubat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ethan Rancon in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Luka Brochot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luka Brochot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
