After 4 played minutes Cabrials got a freekick which was hit by Ilan Philip. In the 6th match minute, Cabrials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold Baudrand to maneuver through the defense. Eugene Bossard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eugene Bossard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Rémi Peyroux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabrials's supporters rose to their feet, but Rémi Peyroux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavian Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Yves Rateau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernand Duthilleul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugene Bossard in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Emeric Oliviero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fernand Duthilleul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zinedine Gaudron's late challenge caught a Cabrials's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zinedine Gaudron helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rouzat getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zinedine Gaudron hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on Cabrials's corner Gérald Anstett fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavian Miguel quite easily take care of the ball. Fernand Duthilleul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinedine Gaudron in the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rouzat defense, Jean-Yves Rateau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavian Miguel. The Rouzat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavian Miguel should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugene Bossard made a kick off. In the 54th minute Marc-Aurèle Kwiatkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavian Miguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, Rouzat's Emeric Oliviero made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernand Duthilleul was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Rouzat's Flavian Miguel got control of the ball when Rémi Peyroux tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 66th minute of the match Zinedine Gaudron completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zinedine Gaudron a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Zinedine Gaudron hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rémi Peyroux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabrials's supporters rose to their feet, but Rémi Peyroux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavian Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rémi Peyroux might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavian Miguel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rémi Peyroux ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Rouzat's Flavian Miguel got control of the ball when Rémi Peyroux tried to sneak it across the goal line.
