Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronan Eschbach took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Ronan Eschbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernand Duthilleul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cabrials's Fernand Duthilleul got control of the ball when Éthan Degardin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Jean-Sébastien Petitpas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Volvic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabrials the free kick. Jean-Sébastien Petitpas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Éthan Degardin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volvic's supporters rose to their feet, but Éthan Degardin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernand Duthilleul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Éthan Degardin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Volvic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Jean-Sébastien Petitpas came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Volvic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Sébastien Petitpas couldn't finish the play. Rémi Peyroux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Felix Féral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Volvic's goal looked a bit too open when Rémi Peyroux came free, but Felix Féral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Cabrials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc-Aurèle Kwiatkowski to maneuver through the defense. Fernand Duthilleul made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Éthan Degardin sent off a good shot on target. Felix Féral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Yves Rateau in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Rémi Peyroux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabrials fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Yves Rateau made a kick off. Felix Féral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Yves Rateau in the 54th minute of the match. Ronan Eschbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fernand Duthilleul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronan Eschbach in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernand Duthilleul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rémi Peyroux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabrials's Fernand Duthilleul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronan Eschbach in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Éthan Degardin made a precise shot to the right of Fernand Duthilleul. Cabrials's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cabrials's Jean-Yves Rateau got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rémi Peyroux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Féral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Yves Rateau in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Degardin in the 85th minute of play forced Cabrials's goalkeeper Fernand Duthilleul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bakary Janssen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernand Duthilleul. Cabrials's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cabrials's Fernand Duthilleul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronan Eschbach in the 92nd minute of play. Fernand Duthilleul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan Eschbach in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cabrials players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Volvic.
