Faouzi Lenfant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxime Barray in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faouzi Lenfant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Mandanda during the 20th minute. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Romeo Ménage kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Joaquim Requier never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Romeo Ménage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Epiré's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Ménage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Requier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Segaud kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Epiré's Dorian Gounon tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Romeo Ménage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epiré's Lucien Frémiot suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathanaël Richert during the 37th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryan Truchet to make the kick off. When Paulo Bréchet fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harnes's protests and gave Paulo Bréchet a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Harnes's Paulo Bréchet got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Romeo Ménage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Epiré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Ménage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Dard's late challenge caught a Harnes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Dard helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Harnes's zone, Achille Mandanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Requier came out of the goal and Achille Mandanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Harnes got a freekick which was hit by Nathanaël Richert. Ryan Truchet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Joaquim Requier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanguy Racine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Harnes got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Bréchet. Ryan Truchet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Requier having to interfere. If Hugo Segaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Epiré getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Romeo Ménage hit a great ball. Epiré's Faouzi Lenfant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Epiré from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd match minute, Harnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Segaud to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Ryan Truchet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Epiré players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
