After a defensive mix-up in Médan's zone, Sebastien Boone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alphonse Blanquart came out of the goal and Sebastien Boone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alphonse Blanquart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilan Meheut in the 17th minute of the match. Sacha Verdet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Francis Peraud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geoffroy Moulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francis Peraud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Francis Peraud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sacha Verdet in the 26th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Geoffroy Moulis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alphonse Blanquart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilan Meheut, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Piboson's Ilan Meheut in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alphonse Blanquart guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Sebastien Boone scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alphonse Blanquart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruce Mahut in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francis Peraud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th match minute, Médan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Delatour to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilan Meheut got free with Alphonse Blanquart in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Piboson had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
