The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Jason Berthonneau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Messein's Ghislain Deal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Messein's Ghislain Deal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Herry in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Pédauque's Jason Berthonneau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ghislain Deal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jérémie Périn kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Gustave Foulonneau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Gustave Foulonneau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pédauque's Daryl Lambinet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daryl Lambinet made an important save on a dangerous shot by René Duval in the 16th minute. René Duval who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Daryl Lambinet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pacôme Manceau hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Dan Herry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ghislain Deal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Berthonneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute of the match Edmond Rosso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daryl Lambinet skillfully saved the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pédauque fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jason Berthonneau made a kick off. Pédauque's Dan Herry was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If René Duval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Titouan Gabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. René Duval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. René Duval struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Daryl Lambinet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Messein. With a little luck, Messein's Ghislain Deal got control of the ball when Dan Herry tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jason Berthonneau came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Pédauque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jason Berthonneau couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute Bertrand Galand suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Ulysse Guibout fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pédauque's protests and gave Ulysse Guibout a yellow card for diving instead. After 99 played minutes, Messein's Ramzy Tomasini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daryl Lambinet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Messein reached it.
