Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jordy Angles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Reynald Vallette got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Guibert got free with Celestin Combaz in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jordy Angles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute, Ben Richardot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynald Vallette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordy Angles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Raoul Poupin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vaumimbert's goalkeeper Celestin Combaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jordy Angles hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When Vaumimbert's Gerard Courbet in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falicon's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynald Vallette to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Vaumimbert's goal looked a bit too open when Reynald Vallette came free, but Celestin Combaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Jordy Angles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaumimbert's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordy Angles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Mathias Guibert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestin Combaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Jordy Angles came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Vaumimbert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordy Angles couldn't finish the play. Jordy Angles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Raoul Poupin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raoul Poupin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Angles in the 74th minute of the match. Celestin Combaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynald Vallette's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, one of Vaumimbert:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vaumimbert. Celestin Combaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Guibert in the 94th minute of play. Vaumimbert's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
