The audience was convinced that Kevin Chanel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malik Loir was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Kevin Chanel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Malik Loir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Olivier Hours went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Pierre-Olivier Hours managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talant's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre-Olivier Hours was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malik Loir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Maximilien Oswald made the kick off in the second half. If Dorian Guinot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th match minute, Belleville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Guinot to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Olivier Hours in the 61st minute of play forced Belleville's goalkeeper Malik Loir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Talant's Pierre-Olivier Hours in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belleville's goalie prevented a goal. Hamid Frémiot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilien Oswald, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Belleville booed when Talant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmid Bourmaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talant's Hamid Frémiot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilien Oswald in the 73rd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Talant's goal looked a bit too open when Theophile Lotz came free, but Hamid Frémiot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belleville's Malik Loir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Belleville from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Talant booed when Belleville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Guinot didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Olivier Hours in the 90th minute of play forced Belleville's goalkeeper Malik Loir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Talant supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Talant would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
