Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vitrolles's Pierre-Henri Brau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Modeste Plantard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 5 in the game by Valerien Cathelain from a close distance when the talented Salim Souverain managed to make a qualified save. Nonardie's players were relieved. Modeste Plantard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Nonardie's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Henri Brau came free, but Salim Souverain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Valerien Cathelain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valerien Cathelain took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salim Souverain. Salim Souverain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Dilan Lahaye fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitrolles's protests and gave Dilan Lahaye a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vitrolles getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dilan Lahaye hit a great ball. Benoit Appert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modeste Plantard in the 24th minute of the match. Célestin Agasse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Célestin Agasse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Achille Gilleron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nonardie's Salim Souverain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Nonardie from getting a goal against them. Célestin Agasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benoit Appert having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Célestin Agasse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salim Souverain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Henri Brau in the 52nd minute of the match. If Valerien Cathelain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modeste Plantard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Benoit Appert made a huge save. Pierre-Henri Brau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salim Souverain having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Vitrolles got a freekick which was hit by Tim Rouet. Benoit Appert had great luck who in the 65thth minute grab hold of the ball when Célestin Agasse from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Corentin Roge took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Benoit Appert to make any attempt to save it. Valerien Cathelain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salim Souverain having to interfere. Vitrolles's Achille Gilleron got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Achille Gilleron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salim Souverain was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Valerien Cathelain struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Salim Souverain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitrolles.
