In the 4th match minute, Fublaines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Chevreau to maneuver through the defense. Eddy Houssin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Remi Chastagner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montreuil. Hocine Le Forestier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harry Chevreau went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Fublaines's Herve Gautherot in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montreuil's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Fublaines getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alix Bernigaud hit a great ball. The supporters of Montreuil booed when Fublaines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francois Bene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabien Sablon's late challenge caught a Montreuil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabien Sablon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Fabien Sablon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terry Pradel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddy Houssin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Remi Chastagner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 37th minute of the match Valerien Houry sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hocine Le Forestier skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd minute, Harry Chevreau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harry Chevreau struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hocine Le Forestier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fublaines. After having played for 46 minutes, Eddy Houssin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montreuil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddy Houssin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herve Gautherot to make the kick off. Hocine Le Forestier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herve Gautherot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Montreuil's Jean-Michel Rome sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remi Chastagner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remi Chastagner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terry Pradel, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Fublaines's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Houssin came free, but Remi Chastagner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terry Pradel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Remi Chastagner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hocine Le Forestier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herve Gautherot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herve Gautherot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hocine Le Forestier having to make a save. Harry Chevreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Herve Gautherot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fublaines's supporters rose to their feet, but Herve Gautherot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hocine Le Forestier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Chevreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fublaines had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
