Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mickaël Guilleminot got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Manson's Moise Bermond got a free kick in the 26th minute. Mickaël Guilleminot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Gerald Grossin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remi Guerif to make the kick off. Kevin Delage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alix Gardin in the 53rd minute of the match. Zinedine Béroud charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Fourvière fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Delage should have stopped the shot. Mickaël Guilleminot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Billiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herve Lachaise having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match Victor Bozon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kevin Delage skillfully saved the ball.
