Grégory Manson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grégory Issartel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Augny booed when Manson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Bozon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grégory Issartel made a kick off. Manson's Herve Lachaise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grégory Issartel in the 52nd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herve Lachaise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Grégory Issartel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herve Lachaise was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Nallet in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herve Lachaise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Manson walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
