Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jean-Pascal Poncin started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Houplin's Gaston Langlade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Jonage's Alou Meynard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Wendling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alou Meynard in the 18th minute of play forced Houplin's goalkeeper Franklin Wendling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Houplin getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Emeric Riffault hit a great ball. A collision led to Jonage getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mario Chapelon hit a great ball. Gaston Langlade received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Pontet came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaston Langlade slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Jonage got a freekick which was hit by Noureddine Malandain. Eugene Conquet came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christian Pontet could save by the left post. Christian Pontet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Langlade in the 41st minute. Jean-Pascal Poncin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Wendling having to interfere. Jean-Pascal Poncin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Franklin Wendling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Alou Meynard might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franklin Wendling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alou Meynard ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Houplin's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pascal Poncin came free, but Franklin Wendling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Jonage's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Langlade came free, but Christian Pontet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Pascal Poncin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alou Meynard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jonage's supporters rose to their feet, but Alou Meynard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Wendling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 63 minutes, Alou Meynard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alou Meynard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonage's Christian Pontet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Langlade in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Houplin booed when Jonage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Dugue didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Houplin's Philippe Pavard made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Pontet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philippe Pavard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Pontet having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jonage's Georges Dabadie got a free kick in the 85th minute. Eugene Conquet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gaston Langlade came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Houplin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Langlade couldn't finish the play. After having played for 91 minutes, Philippe Pavard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houplin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philippe Pavard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philippe Pavard might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Pontet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philippe Pavard ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 97 minutes, Gaston Langlade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houplin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Langlade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Houplin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
