Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bérenger Benquet took the kick off in the first half of the match. Albert Doret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bérenger Benquet in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Bérenger Benquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Doret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Bérenger Benquet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brusc's Albert Doret was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavallot's goalkeeper Kader Chassagne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Bérenger Benquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Doret made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Faudel Lize sent off a good shot on target. Brusc's Albert Doret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bérenger Benquet in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrice Brayer during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Lavallot:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Brusc. Zinedine Perrotin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kader Chassagne. 0-2. In the 28th match minute, Lavallot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Daurès to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Zinedine Perrotin led 28 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Lavallot's Kader Chassagne became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-3. Albert Doret made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faudel Lize in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Samuel Saudrais's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kader Chassagne was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Marius Pignon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Gaston Daurès was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavallot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brusc the free kick. Gaston Daurès kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Lavallot's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Pignon came free, but Kader Chassagne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bérenger Benquet struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Albert Doret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavallot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Pignon to strike the kick off in the second half. Albert Doret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bérenger Benquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Kader Chassagne managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Brusc's Samuel Saudrais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Pignon in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kader Chassagne saved Lavallot from getting behind. Brusc's Marius Pignon got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lavallot's Kader Chassagne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Lavallot from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Lavallot's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Pignon came free, but Kader Chassagne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lavallot's zone, Marius Pignon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kader Chassagne came out of the goal and Marius Pignon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Saudrais took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kader Chassagne. Kader Chassagne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Brusc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brusc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
