Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Luka Diallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maraussan's supporters rose to their feet, but Luka Diallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Rohart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernand Le Moing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chantenay getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gregory Appere hit a great ball. Mario Rohart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernand Le Moing in the 14th minute of the match. The long shot by Andre Cayla in the 17th minute really tested Tommy Steffen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Axel Forte kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Tommy Steffen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles-Henri Gibault in the 22nd minute of the match. Francis Guillon hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Andre Cayla came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Chantenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Cayla couldn't finish the play. Tommy Steffen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles-Henri Gibault in the 29th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Charles-Henri Gibault lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Tommy Steffen. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luka Diallo made a kick off. After 60 minutes, Gregory Appere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chantenay and the Maraussan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute Luka Diallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Rohart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Charles-Henri Gibault managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chantenay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles-Henri Gibault was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Fernand Le Moing got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Chantenay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maraussan:s goal. The goalkeeper, Mario Rohart, was totally fooled by Maraussan's Francis Guillon, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 83rd minute, Charles-Henri Gibault ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Steffen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Charles-Henri Gibault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Rohart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Diallo in the 93rd minute of play. After 96 played minutes Chantenay got a freekick which was hit by Honore Carel. Fernand Le Moing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Mario Rohart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chantenay were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maraussan for a fine match.
