Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dan Cailly made the kick off which started today's match. Dan Cailly's late challenge caught a Maraussan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Cailly helped the player get up and apologised. Maraussan's Tommy Steffen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Cailly in the 6th minute of play. Dan Cailly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Steffen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Cailly in the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Eddy Lhomme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nanterre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Nanterre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Burtin to maneuver through the defense. When Eddy Lhomme came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Nanterre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddy Lhomme couldn't finish the play. Eliott Diakite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Diallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nanterre's Eliott Diakite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Diallo in the 38th minute of play. Eliott Diakite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Diallo in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Maraussan's Luka Diallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliott Diakite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Luka Diallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luka Diallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eliott Diakite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luka Diallo made a kick off. Maraussan's Fernand Le Moing got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nanterre's goalkeeper Eliott Diakite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 minutes, Axel Forte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maraussan and the Nanterre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Maraussan got a freekick which was hit by Axel Forte. Dan Cailly struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Tommy Steffen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nanterre. Nanterre's Basile Giner shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommy Steffen but with some difficulty. Dan Cailly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tommy Steffen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Cailly in the 78th minute of play forced Maraussan's goalkeeper Tommy Steffen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nanterre getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Raphael Burtin hit a great ball. A collision led to Maraussan getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Romeo Cuvilliez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basile Giner in the 93rd minute of play forced Maraussan's goalkeeper Tommy Steffen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
