Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omer Tabouret took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Michel Perthuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mardié's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Perthuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Etchebarne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Perthuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Labourse's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Perthuis came free, but Leon Etchebarne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mardié's zone, Jules Leopold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jérémy Bobet came out of the goal and Jules Leopold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mardié's Jérémy Bobet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Leopold in the 22nd minute of play. Jules Leopold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mardié defense, Jules Leopold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jérémy Bobet. The Mardié fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jérémy Bobet should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, one of Labourse:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Labourse. 37 minutes into the match, Labourse's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Perthuis came free, but Leon Etchebarne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Labourse's Omer Tabouret got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Omer Tabouret came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Labourse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omer Tabouret couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Michel Perthuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leon Etchebarne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Labourse's Jules Leopold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jérémy Bobet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Jules Leopold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Labourse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Labourse booed when Mardié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Charles Letort didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 66 in the game by Jules Leopold from a close distance when the talented Jérémy Bobet managed to make a qualified save. Mardié's players were relieved. When Jules Leopold came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Labourse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jules Leopold couldn't finish the play. With his leg Jérémy Bobet managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Labourse's Jules Leopold fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jules Leopold got free with Jérémy Bobet in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 minutes, Jean-Charles Letort mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mardié and the Labourse players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omer Tabouret in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jérémy Bobet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Etchebarne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibaut Delord in the 92nd minute of the match. Thibaut Delord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Etchebarne having to interfere. Labourse's Leon Etchebarne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Perthuis in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Labourse walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
