Eugene Bourreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludovic Gil in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Paillot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augustin Taine might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josselin Baudot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augustin Taine ran back to his position shaking his head. Allan Bonzom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugene Bourreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludovic Gil in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Paillot saved Guermantes from getting behind. If Augustin Taine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Taine in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josselin Baudot saved Lormont from getting behind. Gilbert Paillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joffrey Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugene Bourreau made a kick off. A collision led to Lormont getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Joffrey Valle hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Taine in the 53rd minute of play forced Lormont's goalkeeper Josselin Baudot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josselin Baudot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Cattin in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugene Bourreau in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Paillot saved Guermantes from getting behind. Gilbert Paillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugene Bourreau, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sacha Clapier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andre Francomme during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lormont getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Andre Francomme hit a great ball. Joey Savignac kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Lormont's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Taine came free, but Josselin Baudot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Sacha Clapier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josselin Baudot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ludovic Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Paillot having to interfere. Lormont's Josselin Baudot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sacha Clapier in the 93rd minute of play. If Eugene Bourreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
