The supporters of Maraussan booed when Frontignan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malik Salhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Charret's late challenge caught a Frontignan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Charret helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Maximilien Sauvaire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorian Bluteau was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Frontignan's goalkeeper Ludovic Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Vauchel. Dorian Bluteau had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Mourad Sutter's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Maximilien Sauvaire made the kick off in the second half. Dorian Bluteau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilien Sauvaire in the 57th minute of play. Maraussan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
