Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lorenzo Froissard took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Salindres getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Théophile Molinari hit a great ball. Dominique Drouot was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Armand Becu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armand Becu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Faudel Cecillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Salindres's Faudel Cecillon in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holtzheim's goalie prevented a goal. Armand Becu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dominique Drouot made a huge save. Armand Becu might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominique Drouot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armand Becu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faudel Cecillon in the 25th minute of play forced Holtzheim's goalkeeper Dominique Drouot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Froissard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathys Kalou. Salindres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Froissard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Armand Becu's late challenge caught a Holtzheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armand Becu helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Froissard in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathys Kalou saved Salindres from getting behind. Gaetan Basson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faudel Cecillon to make the kick off. The supporters of Salindres booed when Holtzheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Poinsot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Terry Nicolai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominique Drouot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Faudel Cecillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dominique Drouot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathys Kalou was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Lorenzo Froissard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lorenzo Froissard really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Lorenzo Froissard was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Holtzheim's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mathys Kalou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Froissard, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gaetan Basson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Lorenzo Froissard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holtzheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Froissard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathys Kalou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Gaetan Basson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Gaetan Basson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holtzheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaetan Basson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Holtzheim's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
