Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aymerick Philippon made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aziz Saget in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Dieu saved Chamboursat from getting behind. If Aymerick Philippon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Chamboursat got a freekick which was hit by Arnaud Milleret. After a rather tough play, Chamboursat's Hamza Poilane got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Izon's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Dubief came free, but Faustin Chantrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aymerick Philippon came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Izon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aymerick Philippon couldn't finish the play. If John Pene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chamboursat's Michaël Alibert got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Chamboursat defense, Aymerick Philippon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Dieu. The Chamboursat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Dieu should have stopped the shot. Chamboursat's Michaël Alibert shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Faustin Chantrel but with some difficulty. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 53rd minute, Daniel Dubief got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, one of Izon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Faustin Chantrel had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping André Dhaussy's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Chamboursat's Victor Dieu got control of the ball when Merlin Ballanger tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Chamboursat's goal looked a bit too open when Aymerick Philippon came free, but Victor Dieu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chamboursat's Victor Dieu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Chamboursat from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Izon's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Dubief came free, but Faustin Chantrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Dieu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Merlin Ballanger sent off a good shot on target. Merlin Ballangers short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Victor Dieu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Dubief recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Valès came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victor Dieu could save by the left post. Victor Dieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aymerick Philippon in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Aymerick Philippon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Dieu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcel Valès fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izon's protests and gave Marcel Valès a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Izon got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Valès. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Izon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
