Jean-Baptiste Pechon hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Colonie's Nathan Guilmin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Beigneux's Gameiro Waechter got a free kick in the 37th minute. Bryan Dancoisne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Bruno Deconinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Beigneux were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Duhem was the one to do the kick off. Herbert Avril showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Duhem in the 54th minute of the match. Colonie's Bruno Deconinck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Colonie from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Erwin Lepère notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Beigneux's Herbert Avril. Herbert Avril was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronald Viale might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Avril. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronald Viale ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gameiro Waechter during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Gameiro Waechter had to leave the field with a concussion. 86 minutes into the game, Ronald Viale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colonie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beigneux the free kick. A collision led to Colonie getting a freekick after 87 minutes play.
