The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Freddy Brette got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute David Giovannetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Guyomarch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aymerick Beche fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vigen's protests and gave Aymerick Beche a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bréteque booed when Vigen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aymerick Beche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bréteque's Théophile Clausse got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Théophile Clausse in the 11th minute of play forced Vigen's goalkeeper Marc Guyomarch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Théophile Clausse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vigen's goalkeeper Marc Guyomarch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vigen's Marc Guyomarch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Brette in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Théophile Clausse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Théophile Clausse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Guyomarch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Bréteque's Théophile Clausse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc Guyomarch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 46th minute, Madjid Peter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Valy made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madjid Peter during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bréteque's Madjid Peter got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, one of Bréteque:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Vigen a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramzi Maudet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bréteque's Nathanaël Boudon. 2-1. When Vincent Flamme came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vigen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Flamme couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Vigen's zone, Eddy Pimont stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Guyomarch came out of the goal and Eddy Pimont tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vincent Flamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathanaël Boudon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Flamme in the 65th minute of the match. Freddy Brette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Guyomarch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Nathanaël Boudon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Valy in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Bréteque getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. David Giovannetti hit a great ball. Vigen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramzi Maudet in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Vigen's corner Ramzi Maudet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nathanaël Boudon quite easily take care of the ball. Vincent Flamme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanaël Boudon having to interfere. In the 78th minute Freddy Brette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Guyomarch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Guyomarch was a little too slow when Freddy Brette got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Freddy Brette kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marc Guyomarch. That made the score 2-3 in the 84 minute of play. Marc Guyomarch was a little too slow when Freddy Brette got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-4. Vincent Flamme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanaël Boudon having to interfere. Bréteque's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
