In the 3rd match minute, Sillingy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Melon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Diot in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Viel saved Sillingy from getting behind. 4 minutes into the game, Bixente Rodriguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sillingy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ganzau the free kick. After 4 played minutes Sillingy got a freekick which was hit by Bixente Rodriguez. Tanguy Blind took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierre Viel. Sillingy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute Antonin Lemarie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Berche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes, Sillingy's Jacob Morineau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luis Berche came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sillingy reached it. Jean-Baptiste Pluquet charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Baptiste Pluquet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jean-Baptiste Pluquet kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Antonin Lemarie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Elias Diot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre Viel was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Philippe Sauze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Berche having to make a save. Luis Berche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe Sauze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Antonin Lemarie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ganzau's Luis Berche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 played minutes Ganzau got a freekick which was hit by Bacary Planes. In the 45th minute of the match Sillingy got a corner. Ganzau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Salim Jumeaux ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Cyril Salmon to score against Luis Berche in Ganzau's goal. 0-1 after 45 minutes.
The wind increased when Elias Diot made the kick off in the second half. Mathieu Garo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Diot in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Viel saved Sillingy from getting behind. Jean-Baptiste Pluquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Pierre Viel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sillingy's Philippe Sauze got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Diot in the 68th minute of play forced Sillingy's goalkeeper Pierre Viel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Viel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Diot went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mathieu Garo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Antonin Lemarie might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Berche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonin Lemarie ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Philippe Sauze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sillingy's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Sauze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Berche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charles-Henri Bernaud's late challenge caught a Sillingy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles-Henri Bernaud helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Charles-Henri Bernaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Ganzau got a freekick which was hit by Charles Lachaux. Antonin Lemarie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Berche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonin Lemarie, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Philippe Sauze struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Luis Berche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sillingy. Antonin Lemarie was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sillingy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ganzau to leave the ground with a draw.
