Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elias Diot started the match with the kick off. Philippe Lespinasse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Diot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute of the match Armand Teisseire sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philippe Lespinasse skillfully saved the ball. Sassenage's Philippe Lespinasse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Diot in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Sassenage's Hector Nowak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Berche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elias Diot struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Philippe Lespinasse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ganzau. Elias Diot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Lespinasse having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Jean-Baptiste Pluquet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ganzau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Baptiste Pluquet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Nowak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luis Berche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teddy Perrigault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Mathieu Garo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Sassenage's Hector Nowak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luis Berche. Luis Berche yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Nowak made a kick off. If Jean-Baptiste Pluquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philippe Lespinasse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Diot in the 54th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Jean-Baptiste Pluquet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Laude scored 2-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Berche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Berche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Nowak, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Hector Nowak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Berche. Ganzau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Nowak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ganzau fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sassenage a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ulysse Pla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ganzau's Luis Berche. 4-0. In the 84th minute, Charles Laude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sassenage's goalkeeper Philippe Lespinasse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean-Baptiste Pluquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean-Baptiste Pluquet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Philippe Lespinasse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Ganzau getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Elias Diot hit a great ball.
