After 50 played minutes Trélaze got a freekick which was hit by Barnabé Brunier. Maxime Lechat was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ethan Gharbi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Léo Muret came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Trélaze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Muret couldn't finish the play.
