Tanguy Grandidier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Mony, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alban Konieczny in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romain Gimenez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th match minute, Rivière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Émilien Attia to maneuver through the defense. Sam Mony sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sam Mony's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanguy Grandidier was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. A collision led to Rivière getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Émilien Attia hit a great ball. Alban Konieczny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Farid Massat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Mony received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tanguy Grandidier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Stanislas Fourcade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murianette's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislas Fourcade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alban Konieczny in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romain Gimenez saved Murianette from getting behind. In the 55th minute Stanislas Fourcade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanguy Grandidier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Sammy Scouarnec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivière's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murianette the free kick. Sammy Scouarnec kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Romain Gimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farid Massat, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Stanislas Fourcade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanguy Grandidier having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Rivière's Farid Massat made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romain Gimenez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Farid Massat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romain Gimenez having to interfere. Farid Massat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geoffrey Daudet kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alban Konieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rivière booed when Murianette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffrey Daudet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alban Konieczny came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Rivière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alban Konieczny couldn't finish the play. Tanguy Grandidier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Mony in the 92nd minute. If Farid Massat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Rivière could leave the field as winners, despite Murianette having more of the ball for most of the match.
