Champigneulles's Edmond Barrault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Coquin in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Champigneulles's Loïc Dournel got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Edmond Coquin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Barrault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Berenger Hugot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Barrault was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Edmond Barrault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berenger Hugot, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The Champigneulles fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Champigneulles's Claude Bougard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Edmond Barrault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Coquin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Champigneulles's Edmond Barrault proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Champigneulles from getting a goal against them. Melvin Blondin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Champigneulles's Brandon Lamoureux shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villecresnes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
