Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabrice Huard started the match with the kick off. If Jules Guillemot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Bequet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Jolan Houssais when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jolan Houssais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jules Guillemot in the 13th minute of the match. Albert Janicot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gustave Mulot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustave Mulot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrice Huard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Walter Bequet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinval's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Bequet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jolan Houssais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Albert Janicot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Mulot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrice Huard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gustave Mulot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pinval's Jules Guillemot got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Beau Marais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louison Bianconi to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Jules Guillemot rounded Beau Marais's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Walter Bequet scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jolan Houssais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 50 minutes Pinval's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Philippe Gabillet who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Philippe Gabillet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pinval's Gustave Mulot did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jules Guillemot to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Beau Marais's Pierre Deconinck got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Bequet in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jolan Houssais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Jules Guillemot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Albert Janicot notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pinval's Gustave Mulot. Gustave Mulot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jules Guillemot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jolan Houssais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Walter Bequet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pinval had won after a very even match.
