Dylan Gourdet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Vandenbussche went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dylan Gourdet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Vandenbussche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Edouard Le Bohec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marc Serieys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 23 minutes on the clock, Kevin Pellat commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 22 minutes into the game, one of Houplin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Avanne. Charles Combier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dylan Gourdet. 2-1. Dylan Gourdet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yannick Belaid in the 32nd minute. Yannick Belaid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Houplin's Hector Michiels got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Houplin's Hector Michiels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc Serieys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Hector Michiels made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Houplin getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Joffrey Maridet hit a great ball. Dylan Gourdet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Vandenbussche's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Gregoire Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Michielss short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Marc Serieys to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hector Michiels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marc Serieys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Houplin's Hector Michiels got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dylan Gourdet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannick Belaid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loic Maillot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alphonse Le Clainche kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Yannick Belaid struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dylan Gourdet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avanne. Leonard Vandenbussche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dylan Gourdet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Yannick Belaid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonard Vandenbussche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Houplin's goalkeeper Dylan Gourdet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dylan Gourdet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Vandenbussche in the 100th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Houplin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
