Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tourtoule's Alfred Hochart started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zinedine Tartarin made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Franz Auguin sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute, Franz Auguin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tourtoule fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cheikh Briant took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Léonard Delprat. Tourtoule's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ronald Caillaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franz Auguin got free with Zinedine Tartarin in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Darbon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léonard Delprat having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tourtoule's Willy Raymond got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Manuel Darbon came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Peltre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Darbon couldn't finish the play. Aziz Laget hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tourtoule's Léonard Delprat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Darbon in the 40th minute of play. Franz Auguin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Zinedine Tartarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Alfred Hochart took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Zinedine Tartarin to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Darbon to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tourtoule booed when Peltre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Éluard Grimault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franz Auguin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinedine Tartarin having to interfere. If Manuel Darbon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thierry Veillard hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Tourtoule's Alfred Hochart got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfred Hochart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zinedine Tartarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Auguin, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Franz Auguin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Zinedine Tartarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peltre players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tourtoule.
