Sacha Caffin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustin Herbet, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Donovan Coche got in the 21st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Etienne Cahuzac handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Menucourt's goal looked a bit too open when Francois-Xavier Vandenbroucke came free, but Sacha Caffin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jordan Watremez managed to get in a good position for a shot.
