The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Boissonnade helped the player get up and apologised. Xavier Boissonnade hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Ben Moulet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustin Herbet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustin Herbet in the 16th minute of play forced Frillière's goalkeeper Gauthier Boissier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Arthur Roulin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frillière's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silvange the free kick. Arthur Roulin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Gauthier Boissier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Silvange. Arnold Erard stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gauthier Boissier. 2-0. Faustin Herbet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gauthier Boissier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Etienne Cahuzac dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Josselin Grossin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frillière's protests and gave Josselin Grossin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Josselin Grossin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Silvange's Arnold Erard tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustin Herbet to make the kick off. Ben Moulet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne Cahuzac having to interfere. Gauthier Boissier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustin Herbet's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordan Watremez in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gauthier Boissier saved Frillière from getting behind. Gauthier Boissier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustin Herbet in the 68th minute of the match. Johnny Ricquebourg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Silvange's Faustin Herbet in 74 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gauthier Boissier guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Jordan Watremez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gauthier Boissier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Jordan Watremez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ben Moulet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Watremez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauthier Boissier having to interfere. A collision led to Frillière getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lucas Hénon hit a great ball. Silvange's Faustin Herbet got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Frillière players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Silvange.
