Justin Degrange struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Gildas Laforest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dreff. In the 11th minute Jean-Baptiste Biard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Pauchet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nathan Pauchet made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Mourad Fuhrmann sent off a good shot on target. Gildas Laforest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Degrange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathan Pauchet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean-Baptiste Biard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Eloi Davaine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gildas Laforest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justin Degrange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonnehem's Gildas Laforest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloi Davaine in the 34th minute of play. If Mourad Fuhrmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Baptiste Biard in the 40th minute of play forced Dreff's goalkeeper Nathan Pauchet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gonnehem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Gildas Laforest went to the wrong direction when Sidney Frederic was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Sidney Frederic put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gildas Laforest. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jean-Baptiste Biard made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Justin Degrange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dreff's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Degrange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildas Laforest breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Eloi Davaine took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Gildas Laforest to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute Mourad Fuhrmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Pauchet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Degrange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gildas Laforest read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Gildas Laforest acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sidney Frederic. Nathan Pauchet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Baptiste Biard in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match, Eloi Davaine tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gildas Laforest saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 85th minute, Renaud Flamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloi Davaine received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gildas Laforest came out and tried to block the shot, but Eloi Davaine slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 89th minute. Mourad Fuhrmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nathan Pauchet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Dreff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Frederic to maneuver through the defense. Dreff's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
