Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Samir Person made the kick off which started today's match. Maximilien Nourry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samir Person's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 9 played minutes Epagny got a freekick which was hit by Hector Esteban. Djamel Clot succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. Epagny's Jim Hénon got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mickaël Loison kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Maximilien Nourry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédéric Anfray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ghislain Guillaumet's late challenge caught a Virac's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghislain Guillaumet helped the player get up and apologised. Djamel Clot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Henri Dulac made a huge save. Henri Dulac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Hénon in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Jim Hénon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Epagny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Hénon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jim Hénon made a kick off. Virac's Henri Dulac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamel Clot in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Maximilien Nourry managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Virac's Frédéric Anfray fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jim Hénon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henri Dulac read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Mickaël Loison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Epagny the free kick. After a rather tough play, Virac's Mickaël Loison got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes, Jim Hénon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Epagny and the Virac players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Epagny got a freekick which was hit by Jim Hénon. If Frédéric Anfray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frédéric Anfray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximilien Nourry having to make a save. A well-hit corner resulted in Joseph Gricourt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Epagny fans cheered their team off the field, for while Virac had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
