Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blaise Anselme started the match with the kick off. Rodrigue Rimbaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blaise Anselme, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Corzent's Blaise Anselme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigue Rimbaud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Corzent's zone, Jim Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Ponchon came out of the goal and Jim Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Corzent's Ewan Rey got a free kick in the 14th minute. Malpierre's Jim Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Bixente Le Normand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marius Ponchon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Blaise Anselme reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigue Rimbaud. The goal made the score 1-1. After a rather tough play, Malpierre's Geoffroy Peters got a free kick in the 27th minute. Toufik Tomas's late challenge caught a Corzent's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toufik Tomas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Malpierre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toufik Tomas to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Arthur Mendes sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Rodrigue Rimbaud threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Arthur Mendes this time. Bixente Le Normand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Corzent getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Arthur Mendes hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Corzent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Henri Valette to maneuver through the defense. When Felix Cornec fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 45 played minutes, Malpierre's Johan Lions shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marius Ponchon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malpierre reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bixente Le Normand to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Felix Cornec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ewan Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigue Rimbaud having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bixente Le Normand in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marius Ponchon saved Corzent from getting behind. Jim Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marius Ponchon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigue Rimbaud came out of the goal and Blaise Anselme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Ewan Rey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corzent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 83 minutes into the match, Blaise Anselme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigue Rimbaud. Malpierre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blaise Anselme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Blaise Anselme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigue Rimbaud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Malpierre's goal looked a bit too open when Blaise Anselme came free, but Rodrigue Rimbaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Malpierre's zone, Blaise Anselme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigue Rimbaud came out of the goal and Blaise Anselme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Corzent had won after a very even match.
