An unexpectedly hard shot by Theophile Ulrich in the 28th minute of play forced Borderu's goalkeeper Daryl Dasse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bacary Ribiere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Defontaine having to interfere. Adam Paret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Daryl Dasse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordan Monnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Defontaine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bacary Ribiere in the 44th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josselin Cabon to make the kick off. Manuel Defontaine made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Bacary Ribiere sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Marcoussis's Manuel Defontaine got control of the ball when Bacary Ribiere tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daryl Dasse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Paret in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jordan Monnin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daryl Dasse was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Josselin Cabon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Defontaine having to make a save. In the 88th minute, Josselin Cabon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Borderu booed when Marcoussis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Paret didn't get a good kick on the ball.
