Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Brian Lefaure managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malleloy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Lefaure was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Rogeon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romain Lienhardt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Brian Lefaure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Vernet getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Camille Baradel hit a great ball. Guillaume Wiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donovan Roblin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romain Lienhardt in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Rogeon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Romain Lienhardt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vernet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vernet's Donovan Roblin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Vernet from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Gaston Bouhours hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romain Lienhardt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Vernet's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vernet eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
