Cébazat's Alexandre Vinet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Cébazat from getting a goal against them. When Cyril Falck fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cébazat's protests and gave Cyril Falck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cébazat getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cyril Falck hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Cyril Falck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre-Henri Peronne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alexandre Vinet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aziz Antigny struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Victor Schwartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cébazat. The Mariel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cébazat were winning 0-1.

Mariel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Henri Peronne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 played minutes Cébazat got a freekick which was hit by Harold Dupeyron. Djimmy Jolivel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandre Vinet. Cébazat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Pierre-Henri Peronne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Henri Peronne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dove Duvernois hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Pierre-Henri Peronne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henri Naudon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cébazat were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mariel's much stronger midfield.
