Hervé Lhéritier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Victor Schwartz made a huge save. Pierre-Henri Peronne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nathan Jouanne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Calvin Ricci fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mariel's protests and gave Calvin Ricci a yellow card for diving instead. Calvin Ricci hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Pierre-Henri Peronne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Jouanne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hervé Lhéritier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Schwartz having to interfere. Tommy Bousquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Victor Schwartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henri Naudon might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathan Jouanne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henri Naudon ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Pierre-Henri Peronne put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nathan Jouanne. After 26 played minutes Aubière got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Ogé. Henri Naudon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Jouanne having to interfere. Nathan Jouanne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Ricci in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Joffrey Ramette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aubière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joffrey Ramette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Schwartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Bousquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, Aubière's Nathan Jouanne got control of the ball when Henri Naudon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Tommy Bousquet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariel's Victor Schwartz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tommy Bousquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Tommy Bousquet elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th play minute Henri Naudon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nathan Jouanne. 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Henri Naudon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nathan Jouanne. That made the score 2-3 in the 74 minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Mariel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Ory to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Nathan Ogé shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Schwartz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommy Bousquet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Schwartz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Tommy Bousquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Hervé Lhéritier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Schwartz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Pierre-Henri Peronne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
